I love talking about (and teaching!) personal finance! My husband and I received Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University online course as a wedding gift from a friend. It was the best gift we could've hoped for! We've been following what we learned from that course, and it has set us up for the rest of our lives. It taught us how to budget, plan, save and give money-- all biblically based. Learning how to budget and making a plan for money has allowed me to be a stay at home mom.

My husband and I watched the documentary Borrowed Future a while ago and found it extremely eye-opening. I recommend that everyone watch this video-- especially if you have children, no matter how old they are.

I also link to the Debt Snowball Calculator below, for those who are hoping to see how fast they can get rid of their debt! It's a great tool to help you visualize what could happen if you were to really put the pedal to the metal on paying off your debts. You'll be surprised at how quickly you can succeed!
