After having my 3rd baby, I was really lacking motivation to work out. I decided that I needed to leave the house to have the benefits of a mental break as well as a physical workout. I've been really enjoying the classes at Pure Barre! The instructors are great and I get a great workout in, and am sore for days after! I am not the biggest fan of the music that they play, but it helps take my mind off of the pain from the workout so I don't mind it as much.
They have a lot of class offerings as well, so I'm able to fit at least 2 classes a week into our family's schedule (for now.) We will see how things go in the future, but this is working really well for me in this season!
Between my 2nd and 3rd babies, I didn't have a lot of time for exercise. About 2-3x per week, my husband and I would switch off working out in our living room-- he'd do 30 minutes of GMB (link below!) and I'd do 30 minutes of an online barre, yoga, or pilates class. I find the online classes through AloMoves are high quality, fun, and diverse, and they've also been recently made FREE! I link to my favorite go-to series and instructors below. I hope you have a chance to try them out!
Another good resource is this website called GMB. It focuses on both strength AND mobility! As a bonus, it is also fun to do the movements with young kids. They have online training programs that are very accessible to all skill levels.
